About Anne Markis

Every year feels shorter and more important than the one before.

I’m a student, a professional, a hobbyist, a roommate, a friend, a family member – a stranger. I’m no closer to understanding who I am, and neither are you.

I’m 21, female, and a software engineering student at RIT. I like writing code, music, fiction, and notes to myself. I’m good at very few things I know I’m good at and quite a few things I suspect I’m good at.  Therefore, if it seems I lack confidence, take it as a good sign: I’m pretty sure I know what I’m doing. My nervous habits have become an integral part of my personality.

I’m also a bit of a wino.
